Our lovely flock of purebred Bluefaced Leicester and Wensleydale sheep enjoy a leisurely life on our small farm, where they graze year round on pesticide-free and herbicide-free grass meadows.

This listing is for two (2) ounces of farm-raised, hand washed, undyed natural Wensleydale locks from our flock. Choose from brown, gray or ivory. The brown does have some gray under layer, with lighter tips. I hand-washed these very gently with eco-friendly detergent to maintain curls; the locks are un-separated. The average staple length is 5-8 inches. This fiber will be great to spin or felt and will make excellent doll hair or gnome beards! These lustrous locks are curly and soft, but they do have some vegetable matter (VM) as fiber wasn't picked or carded in order to maintain curls.
